The US President -Bush offered incentives to Serbia if it agrees for Kosavo's freedom.

Some other country will offer more incentives if Serbia does not agree to Kosavo's freedom. It may even offer incentives to US if the latter agrees to freedom of Alaska. If Kosavo's cause is really just, no sops should be necessary.
